Product Description

Sienna Peace Toxic Free Nail Polish

Sienna nail polishes are free from Nanoparticles, Aluminium, Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Synthetic Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Tosylamide or Benzophenone-1.

Cruelty Free Accredited (CCF Australia). Vegan and cruelty free. Packaged in a glass bottle with a timber cap.

How to use

Start with a well prepped nail by using a single coat of either base coat or nail strengthener.

Next, with your choice of colour, swipe one side of the brush on the inside of the bottle neck to remove excess nail polish.

Place your brush with the drop of polish at the base of your nail, near the cuticle. Swipe it in a straight line from the base to the tip of the nail.

Return to the base of the nail and gently swipe to each side of the initial stripe, covering the nail fully.

Repeat the process on each nail.

For full coverage apply two to three coats of colour.

Finish with your choice of glossy or matte top coat.

Voila! You achieved nail polish glory.

How to Dispose

Place clean glass bottle in recycling. Place wooden cap in compost. Place stickers and brush in general rubbish.

I don't know if it's just the light colours, but it takes 3-4 coats to get somewhat even coverage. I believe it's because the texture is runny and the brush is thin and stiff, causing me to create even more streaks when I try to even it out. It takes 2-3 following coats to hide the uneven first application. Note that I didn't use the base coat, but it's difficult to imagine it would solve the runniness and thin brush issue, plus I've used light colours many times without base coats. I'm hesitant to fork out the high price on Sienna to test their base coat, but perhaps I will with a different base. Also the brush hairs have shed into the bottle lip and onto my nails. I've only used the polish twice. There's some beautiful colours in this range, but sadly I won't be purchasing more. I've already bought two very light colours that apply too thinly and streak. This palest pink and the icy blue shade.

I love sienna nail polish. It dries so fast I can find time do my nails even with 2 toddlers. This colour looks natural and pretty. It makes my nails look healthy even after the beating they have taken with all the hand sanitizer this year.

I haven't been wearing nail polish for the past four years because of the toxicity. I was excited when I found out about Sienna nail polish but dubious about its quality. This is the best nail polish I've ever had! I love Peace; I use one coat for a translucent color and two for a more opaque color. I've found that all the colors (I have Heart, Nurture, Hope, Unite, and the base and top coats) are very long-wearing and take a few days to chip. I use my hands for everything and wash them constantly: changing the baby's diapers, doing the dishes by hand, gardening, etc. I make sure to apply the nail polish to very clean nails, and I file, buff, and polish them, which helps a lot.

I was a little dubious in purchasing this due to the previous feedback, but I'm glad I did. It was exactly the look I was after - translucent pink! For best results, I found that you need to apply at least 2 coats to a base coat and finish with a top coat.

I was really excited to try this product after seeing the other reviews but i was disapointed. Two coats plus a clear top coat and my nails chipped after one day. Not worth the money & I was so happy about the toxin and cruelty free. Back to no nail polish for me. I purchased another colour but am yet to trial it, such an effort for soo little in return. Loved the colour and the toxin/cruelty free so it only get two stars for that but I think that is generous.
