Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50
I dont like the smell of this, it smells strongly of citronella. It is very greasy and doesn’t absorb. It causes sweat to bead on your skin making you look like you’ve run a marathon after a simple walk. Having said that, I have extremely pale skin and have not burnt when using this. It is also very waterproof, to the point where it is very hard to wash off in the shower with soap!

Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50
I was really disappointed to find that when I received this, the bottle was large but only half full of product. I also sweat off the sunscreen immediately, and it leaves a substantial white cast (more so than other mineral sunscreens Ive tried). Im happy to try new mineral based sunscreens, especially Australian made, but there are other brands I prefer that are less expensive.

Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50
I found this product a little too greay. Not liking the feel of it. A positive is that I like the fragrance.

Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50
This is a nice formulation that has never set off my sensitive skin. I'm very pale, so I don't have an issue with the white cast, but I would imagine it could be an issue on others. My main problem is that it is very greasy, and despite me having extremely dry skin that usually sucks everything up, a good part of this remains as a greasy layer on my skin. As a result I can't wear it to work, which limits it to weekends and holidays.

Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50
So I love that this brand is Aussie and is reed safe, vegan and cruelty free. Only reason I could not give this 5 stars was because I have a medium brown skin tone and found using this product leaves that whiteish residue like it’s not fully rubbed in, although it is. I’ve tried using less of it on my face which has worked and I use this under a bb cream but I think I’ll try another brand once this bottle runs out to find a sunscreen that doesn’t leave that whiteish residue. Smells wonderful and doesn’t feel too oily which is nice.
