We sat down recently with Retreatment Botanics to learn more about their beautiful brand – and their nourishing Restore Serum formula, featured in this season’s Winter Beauty Box.
1. What makes the Retreatment Botanics range so special?

2. Tell us about the vision and ethos behind Retreatment Botanics?
Originally the range was created for the globally awarded retreat, Gaia Retreat & Spa in the Byron Bay hinterland. The vision was to create a luxury spa grade skincare range that was highly efficacious and provided instant results for spa guests.
From the moment Olivia Newton-John (Co-Founder) & Trudi Jaye (Co-Founder & Managing Director) joined forces, their mutual passion for sustainability and love for animals inspired them to create the entire range without palm oil and harmful ingredients or practices.
3. Tell us about the Restore Serum – what can we expect from this nutrient-rich formula?
If we could summarise our Restore Serum in just a few words, we would quote our customers “it’s liquid gold!”
It’s our face-oil elixir that has been formulated with 15 intensely concentrated nutrient oils to deliver powerful results, and we spent years formulating it so it soaks deeply into the skin to deeply hydrate and leave no greasy residue that other face oils do.

4. What skin types is the Restore Serum best suited for?
It’s perfect for all skin types (including sensitive!), we just recommend that those with blemish-prone skin apply it on only dry areas of the skin where blemishes don’t occur.
5. Do you have any tips when applying this product?
Our Restore Serum is designed to be applied daily, in the AM and PM. It will replenish your skin overnight and it’s the ultimate base for makeup during the day too! Always apply your Restore Serum after your cleanser, exfoliant, concentrate & oil-free serum.
Here’s how to use it:
Gently massage 3 powerful drops of Restore Serum into your face, neck and décolletage. Allow this face oil elixir to deeply absorb into your skin (1-2 mins) before applying your moisturiser.
6. What are your 3 tips for a healthy glow?
- (H4) Skin won’t GLOW without exfoliating the dull, dead surface of skin away. Exfoliating 1-2 times per week (with a gentle exfoliant that doesn’t strip your skin’s natural barrier) will bring the fresh, smooth layer of skin to the surface.
