Ethique Tone It Down Brightening Purple Shampoo Bar is a vegan shampoo bar for blonde, white and grey hair to eliminate brassy tones and deliver ultimate shine.
Formulated with babassu oil, cocoa butter, ethically sourced purple mica pigments, and a dash of beetroot for a colour boost, this bar is packed with toning superpowers and is gentle enough for daily use.
Each Ethique shampoo bar lasts at least 80 washes, equivalent to three bottles of liquid shampoo.

Tone It Down Brightening Purple Shampoo Bar
If it would be possible to leave zero stars I would. I tried the shampoo and conditioner and it left my hair feeling dirty, flat and oily. I tried it a few times and my hair deteriorated so I threw them out. I contacted Ethique and they basically said "Eh, whatta ya gonna do?"

Tone It Down Brightening Purple Shampoo Bar
I was a bit unsure as to whether this would do the trick or not. However, this bar did an amazing job as eliminating brassy tones from my bleached hair, every time I would use it I would get comments on whether I had my hair done! It also lasts for ages!! As do all the other shampoo and conditioner bars I have used, so it's definitely worth the initial cost! I am going back lighter again soon and will purchase again!

Really nice shampoo. Lathers up beautifully. Has got a bit mushy over time and not as easy to get out of the container hence the loss of one star. Still highly recommend.

I was very impressed by how purple this is. Since it’s a shampoo bar I was expecting it to not be as good as liquid toning shampoos but I have been so impressed with this product. Love that I can be eco friendly without missing out on keeping my blonde in check.

Great shampoo works well and foams nicely on second wash. Very deep purple so it’s a bit messy to use. But very happy with this product.

Lathers well, love that it offers me a purple shampoo without all of the damage to the environment caused by my existing brands in plastic bottles. Lasts a couple of months. A little pricey. Do find that I tend to double shampoo more now as my hair can get a bit greasier faster.

I use this once a week on my white/grey hair with a few old highlights, using Mintasy between. It works really well for me, taking out that brassiness and brightening my hair.

I love everything Ethique, they have helped me removed almost all plastics in my skin & hair care routines. I'm so impressed with the purple shampoo and conditioner, being stuck in lockdown in Melbourne again, its been so useful to keep the blonde in my hair intact in-between trips to the hairdresser. As a lot of us know, toning shampoo generally contains sulphates and other chemicals which cause dryness and take the moisture out of hair. This shampoo bar eliminates brassiness and keeps the locks silky smooth at the same time. win win
