Bliss Bar Gentle Solid Face Cleanser

Ethique is by far my favourite brand! The scents are lovely & the bars are nice and creamy

So my skin varies daily between dry and oily, I moisturise daily and still have very oily skin in the afternoon. I found that this bar dried out my skin more, leading to more oil. I hoped it would be enough moisture to keep my skin soft but it now peels more as well, and I have more acne than I've ever had (which previously was not often). Usually, my skin clears up once a month but lately, it is constantly blemished. It is a great product, not quite sure how to store it between uses. It just isn't for my skin type.

Gentle and moisturising for my sensitive skin. I was surprised at how a little really goes a long way. Great product and will definitely buy again.

I use it on my dry skin and it cleans it without feeling like it dries it out. Feel good about one less plastic bottle use too. Lasts a long time!

It's great to have a no-waste product which commits to omitting many common irritants (fragrances, parabens, etc.). It won't address any acne concerns (and it doesn't promise to), it's just a nice way to clean your skin. It is quite expensive for the weight but as many others have pointed out it will last a while if taken care of properly (left to dry after use).

This cleanser doesn't dry out my skin. I usually have dry skin and some products dry my skin out even more. This one is great and removes makeup easily.

I bought this to replace my other cleanser that I've been having trouble sourcing. Honestly I'll probably stick with it going forward - it's great

This leaves my skin (which tends to be combination-dry) feeling fresh and clean without overly drying it out. Also foams up quite well - I had tried cutting the block in small pieces so it would last longer but I found that it soaps up better when I leave the block whole. Very nice and gentle, although I have made the mistake of accidentally getting it in my eyes a few times and it does sting a bit (as you would expect!) so just a word of warning to be careful if using it in the shower! I generally use an oil based cleanser to remove SPF at night before cleansing with this, but I've doubled-cleansed with this a few times when my other cleanser has run out and it seems to remove SPF quite well, too.

I love that this face wash also works as a make-up remover - I was struggling to find a zero waste, plastic free option for make-up removal. It works great removing light make-up and is much easier to use than superstar. Only a little needed per wash, so should last quite a while.

I love that I found a cleanser that was plastic free. However, this product whilst did feel really nice and soft didn't make a huge difference to my skin (dry/combination with small blemishes).

I changed from the Wonder Bar cleanser. I prefer the Bliss Bar as it seems softer and I feel like there's product to work with. Doesn't dry my skin.

I love this cleanser. I have combination skin and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin or dry it out.

As someone with breakouts I usually struggle to find cleansers that don't stress my skin out but this one is lovely! I started with the trail size and my mum and sister both (unprompted) told me how good my skin was looking - that was it! Love that there's no plastic too.
