NueBar Solid Facewash Bar for Dry/Mature Skin

A gentle, deeply hydrating cleansing bar that's suitable for those with dry or mature skin. This bar contains Organic Argan Oil, Cacao Butter and Saccharide Isomerate to bind water the skin leaving it feeling smooth, moist and supple.

The bar is finished with a light scent of Ylang Ylang, Orange, Lavender and Cedarwood essential oils. There are approximately 50 applications per bar.

NueBar is a zero waste brand from Sydney. Their purpose is to create products that care for the planet as well as our bodies. They design and craft beautiful shampoo and conditioner bars along with face bars, body bars and much more. They are all palm oil free, cruelty-free and vegan. Set up by Katie and Kerry, a beautiful couple from Sydney with some pretty fantastic skills. Katie is a Teacher, Naturopath and Herbalist and Kerry is a Typographer and Art Director - she's also an ex stuntwoman! Together they form an awesome partnership and pretty amazing bars!

How to use

Wet the bar and your hands and rub the bar on your palm a few times to dispense the product, apply directly or using a face cloth to a wet face and gently massage in circular motions whilst avoiding the eyes.

Weight: 45g, approximately 50 applications per bar.

Ensure your bars are well-drained between use.

I was really not sold on the idea of a bar for face washing, as I was sure it would be too drying, but I am delighted to say this has changed my mind. I am 32, I have combination skin, and I have never found a face wash which helps with the dryness and the oil. This face wash makes my skin feel soft and clear, has reduced my blackheads significantly and leaves me feeling fresh and moisturised. I have never found a face wash I could use daily without it being too drying until now. I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother me at all. Will definitely buy again. Worth the price, and is lasting for ages. I never write reviews but I think this is worth letting people know about!

My skin is more on the dry side and this face wash is perfect. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and nourished. It's very gentle but strong enough to remove makeup. I'm now using my second bar and will purchase again.

Do yourself a favour and buy this bar. I have normal to dry skin and was struggling with other face bars that were loaded with soap and seemingly stripping my skin. I now use this paired with a konjac sponge and it leaves my skin looking and feeling **chefs kiss** amazing.

(note : Age, 42. Skin type, combination - prone to dryness and hormonal break outs.) - lathers well. - pleasant, interesting scent, like oats and spices, almost savory. - gentle and non drying. - removes make-up, including eye make-up, very effectively (unsure about waterproof mascara). - economical. - very nice, simple but attractive product presentation/packaging.

I was skeptical trying this as I have always tried to stay clear of 'soap bar's'. In my efforts to become more eco friendly and leave less of a footprint I decided to try it and see what I thought. I am so impressed. After using it I don't even feel like a need to use a moisturiser anymore. It has helped my skin to feel softer and more hydrated, I have less imperfections and my skin looks younger. Definitely a convert!!

Trying to cut down on plastic, I’ve tried so many face bars. Even just rinsing my face with water makes my skin dry, and I’m acne prone, so I’ve been trying to find something that is very very gentle and doesn’t make my face feel taut and dry. This bar is perfect and a saving grace for my skin, I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I have combination skin, leaning more towards dry most days. I’ve tried a few different bars and this is bar far the best one I’ve found. It feels like silk on your skin and has a really nice soft scent. Doesn’t dry out my skin at all and doesn’t leave any residue or weird feeling on my skin. I’ve also met one of the women that runs the business at a market and she was super helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the ingredients!
