Parker Safety Razor 29L

ive had this razor for over 2 years now. well worth the money. replacement blades are so cheap and available right here at flora and fauna too!! really awesome eco friendly alternative to those plastic razors I used in my teens. works perfectly, super easy to change the blade. perfect :)

This was my introduction to safety razors and after losing my first one I did repurchase it but I wouldn't do that again with this particular razor. The head loosens off every time I use it so I'm constantly tightening it and it is a little bulky for tighter areas. Over all not bad, would never go back to disposable.

I've been using this razor for nearly 5 years now, haven't needed a replacement yet. The blades are so cheap, too. Highly recommend over disposable razors. Way better for the environment as well!

A really good safety razor for those starting to move away from disposable razors. Easy to replace blades, the handle is grippy and it is very easy to clean.

Was a little nervous to use a safety razor, but I'm super happy with this purchase! The razor weight was comfortable, had no cuts, very easy to use. Would recommend buying a shaving soap for any first-time safety razor users out there. Glad I made the swap!

After using it I can say that I will never go back to disposable ones. This razor works really well ( sometimes too well if I'm not careful), and I feel like I don't have to shave as often.

Your reviews convinced me to try this razor and I am so glad I did. I love the weight of it in my hand and the ease of opening and cleaning. I have only nicked myself a few times where my knees are quite bony but going slowly definitely helps. It is great to be plastic free!

I will never use a conventional razor ever again! I love the weight and feel of this razor and have found short strokes give the best results. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use the first time and can assure anyone considering purchasing this razor, that providing you go nice and slow and don’t press down it won’t be a disaster like you’re picturing.

I've owned this razor for nearly 6 months now, and it's perfect. I'd only ever used disposable razors before, but I never really found them that effective, and in an effort to be more zero-waste, I lashed out and bought this. I was very nervous using it for the first time - I pictured blood everywhere. But honestly I haven't nicked myself once, legs or underarms! It took absolutely no learning curve for me which I was surprised about. I just take it slow, don't apply pressure, and the razor does the work for me. I dropped it only once on the second day I owned it (well more like knocked it off the soap shelf, it's a long way down). I was terrified because another reviewer said they dropped theirs and it broke. Thank goodness mine survived! Take the blade out and dry it and the razor in between uses (and don't drop it) and the thing will last for years and years. I might even give it to my future grandkids some day. Side note: I bought Shark chrome blades to use with the razor, and I've only just replaced the first one (it was getting scratchy), so they go alright too!

I love this razor, it’s a great weight and a pleasure to use. It does take a little getting used to. I’ve learned I cannot rush and I use moisturiser rather than soap, or I’ll cut myself. But with a little care it is perfect.

This is a great razor, you get a much closer shave than disposible razors. I use regular body soap with it and it works fine. Haven't cut myself dispute being reluctant to use it at first. I just let the weight of the razor do the work. Im very happy with this purchase and keeping my plastic razor just in case I need it for travel purposes.

I wish I had bought one of these earlier, if you are thinking about getting one, do it! It took a couple of uses to get used as I was afraid of the blades but once you get used to it it's amazing :)

i love my parker razor! it took me some time to get the hang of shaving with a safety razor - must remember to slow down and watch the bony prominences but i'll never use another disposable razor.

Great razor! Lots of soap and short strokes work best. Just let the weight of the razor do the work. An excellent close shave and I don't have to shave as often
