When to Plant:

Soil:ย Ensure your soil is nutrient rich so prepare it with fresh manure and compost a fortnight before planting. Likes a well-drained soil type.

Position:ย Full sun but wonรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt mind a little afternoon shading.

How to Plant:ย Sow directly into your patch when daytime temperatures regularly surpass 18-20 degrees. If still too cold, propagate in seed trays and transplant when conditions have improved.

Spacing:ย 15-20cms

Depth:ย 0.5 - 1cm

Companion Plants:ย Calendulas are often used as companion plants, as they are reputed to deter pests and attract pollinators.
