How To Make Dukkah

Dukkah is a Middle Eastern and Egyptian nut, seed, and spice blend that has a warm, toasty, nutty flavour and crunchy, crumbly texture. This dish is traditionally served with bread and olive oil for dipping.

If you're after a nice accompaniment with your bread at dinner, we encourage you to have a go at this recipe! 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup coriander seeds
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup roasted almonds
  • Handful of pistachios
  • Handful of walnuts
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • Hemp Gold Seed Oil
  • Bread (for dipping)

Method

  1. Blend all nuts and seeds into a food processor or nutri bullet, until chunky.
  2. Pop mix into a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, pour in enough hemp seed oil to dip in your bread. 
  4. Cut up your bread into slices and dip into the oil, then dukkah and enjoy!
