1. What makes the Ere Perez range so special?
Ere Perez makeup and skincare combine botanicals and natural toxin free ingredients that work to rejuvenate even sensitive skin. We choose ingredients that are in abundance, retaining the dignity of the ingredients, the product and our earth.
What began with a single product, created in my first flat in Bondi – the Natural Almond Mascara – has expanded into our ‘beyond clean’ beauty brand, that prioritises truly sustainable solutions made from powerful botanical ingredients.
2. Tell us about the vision and ethos behind Ere Perez?
We are more than beauty. We’ve been talking about clean beauty before it was trendy. My passion for natural beauty and strong commitment to ethical and sustainable practices are hugely important to me.
I want to create clean, fuss-free formulas, that contain plant-based super ingredients, to help nurture and maintain healthy skin, but also resonated with my life purpose of “less is more”. Life is busy, but self-care is important, and at Ere Perez, we value transparency, to help consumers make informed choices about the products they use.
3. Tell us about the Coco Crayon – what can we expect?
Our Coco Crayons are an incredible multitasking product, that’s not only completely plastic-free but also biodegradable.
A lipstick, lip liner and cheek blush all-in-one, made from skin-loving natural ingredients like skin-loving coconut oil and hydrating baobab oil for long-lasting pigment and hydration.
Completely made out of wood, these zero waste chubby pencils are really creamy, glide super easily and help embrace your natural beauty.
4. What skin types is the Coco Crayon best suited for?
As with all of our natural makeup, Coco Crayons are formulated to be gentle on all skin types, including sensitive.
For optimum application and longevity on the lips, keep them moisturised with an overnight lip mask. Apply Cranberry Lip & Eye Butter generously and wake up with plump soft lips.
5. Do you have any tips when applying this product?
Use the Coco Crayon as a lip liner first. I like to define the lip’s shape before filling in the centre to prevent the lip colour from bleeding and give lips a more polished look. For the cheeks, I like to blend with the warmth of my fingers to give a natural finish.
6. What are your 3 tips for a healthy glow?

Hydration – internal and external! Drinking plenty of water throughout the day keeps you hydrated from the inside out. I like to use Australian Blue Cypress Face Nectar to help awaken my skin when it needs extra hydration. This lightweight face oil looks beautiful under makeup too.

Apply an SPF every day! Minimising exposure to UV rays can help maintain healthier skin and reduce skin damage. Especially here in Australia, we are exposed to the sun more than we think, so just include it as part of your daily routine.

I like to add a natural glow to my skin with Vanilla Highlighters. Deliciously smooth to blend into cheekbones, eyelids, brow bones and lips. They’re the easiest way to achieve a dewy beautiful complexion, without the shimmer!
7. Beautiful skin starts from within - what’s your favourite way to nourish yourself every day?
I start my day with a cup of herbal tea and a green juice, and I like to take advantage of living by the ocean and go for a gentle swim, which helps to manage stress and nourish the soul.
I’m a food and healthy living enthusiast. Eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables and healthy fats is so important. Foods high in antioxidants, like berries, leafy greens and nuts help promote healthy skin.
