When the doorbell rings on delivery day, there's no denying we pinch ourselves a little with excitement! We dive in and unbox our lovable goodies and can't wait to try, use or eat whatever might been inside. After all the excitement is over, we are still left with the box it all came in.
Here at F&F we provide better alternatives, simply because we want the world to be a better place. This is why we use cardboard boxes. Not only is it easy for you to dispose via recycling but they are of course better for the planet.
But before we dispose of things, we think about ways we can reuse or repurpose materials first. That's why we're here to show you 3 ways you can use your F&F box before throwing them away.
Monitor or Laptop Stand
Monitor stands are super helpful in ensuring your screen is eye level. This helps to avoid aches and pains.
Using an F&F box as a stand is a favourite in our office. The best thing about it, is you don't have to fiddle around with it. The box has already been made and is ready to go. All you have to do is simply place it right underneath your computer. Done!
It's also a lovely little reminder to see and read "Ethically Beautiful Everyday." You can feel good knowing your purchase helped better the planet.
Document Organiser
So you've just bought your F&F goodies, but little did you know, you got yourself a document organiser too. Win-win!
Simply cutting up your F&F box into a document organiser, not only saves you money, it invents a new and practical work tool and helps you avoid plastic too.
Having a document organiser, as the name suggests — helps keep you organised. All your important files are in the one place, so you can keep track of everything, speed up your workflow and easily access documents. We've found this super handy and love the fact it's all in arms reach.
On that note, if you find yourself having to write a lot, we highly recommend Eco Pen Club. Their pens are both stylish, 100% recycable and another huge fave in our team's office.
Paint Palatte
This paint palatte idea has been brewing since the start of covid lockdown.
We had the paint, but nothing to put it on. This got our creative minds thinking of what we could use as a palatte, to which we quickly found the answer. We thought what better way to create some art supplies than by transforming our F&F box.
We've enjoyed finding new and enjoyable hobbies in the form of art. This includes both creating the materials to put our paint on and the actual painting process.
Now that you've got your paint palatte sorted, make sure you actually have some paint. We love the Natural Eco Paints. This paint set comes with 8 different colours, are plant based and are perfect for kids to play with as they're non toxic.
There are countless ways you can reuse our F&F boxes, so get your thinking caps on. We would love to know what you come up with.
We've especially loved seeing your pets take an interest in our F&F boxes, some which play around in them, claim it as their own, or sleep in. You can of course also save the boxes and fill them up with all your recycables. Once full, simply return the box back to us, as part of our Recycle & Save Program.
