It's no secret that using a dryer for your clothes, takes up a lot of energy. But what you might not have realised, is that, it's one of the major contributiors to carbon emissions.
Whilst ruling out a dryer entirely is the best environmental option, we can understand that there are instances where not everyone has the opportunity to hang out their washing on the line. Australia — this winter in particular is looking like a rainy one. So what's the solution?
Introducing Ecoegg Dryer Eggs — the unique way to dry your clothes! Using a dryer egg, or two for that matter can reduce your drying time by up to 28%. How's that for energy saving!
Let's further explore how these dryer eggs are helping the planet, the benefits they have for you and most importantly, we'll show you how to use them!
Kinder To The Planet
To keep it plain and simple, Ecoegg's Dryer Eggs are better for the environment because of their ability to reduce drying time. This means you are using less energy and producing less carbon emissions.
How do they work? They work by separating your laundry so that more air can circulate and ultimately dry each item more quickly. The nodules on the eggs are designed to help soften your clothes naturally so there is no need to use fabric softener. More for less, if you ask us!
Plus, did we mention they are reusable and last years? Even the fragrance sticks lasts ages, giving you approximatly 20 uses. Just remember, when they start to loose their smell, it's time to replace!
