Biode Air Drying Soap Holder

Biode's bamboo air dying soap holder has a unique magnetic design that holds your shampoo, conditioner or soap bars firmly in place. Simply embed the magnet cap into the flat side of your soap and attach it to the holder. Bamboo is resistant to mould and mildew, and with proper care, this soap holder will last for years.

Vegan and cruelty free. Packaged in a compostable cardboard box.

Biode (pronounced "By-Oh-Dee") was founded by Vanessa Gray Lyndon, who has 20 years of experience as a natural and organic skincare formulator and manufacturer. Biode was born as a solution to two challenges; the need for more sustainable packaging in the beauty industry, and the need for skincare without synthetic ingredients. Biode is packaged in 100% compostable packaging and is 100% Australian owned.

How to use

Ensure the wall is clean and dry. Remove the adhesive strip cover from the back of the soap holder and stick it to the wall. Be sure you are happy with the placement before attaching, as the adhesive is very strong.

Gently insert the magnet cap into the centre of the flat face of the soap bar. Soap will now magnetically attach to the holder and air dry in between uses.

Be sure to place holder(s) out of direct shower stream or spray to ensure soap has the chance to dry between uses.

We love these soap holders, and have no problem with adhesive.. I would coat with clear enamel before use, so as to preserve timber in the wet areas..

I bought two and both of their magnets fell off after a month of use. I had to super glue them back on. Whilst the unit in the kitchen had stayed in tact. The one in the bathroom kept falling off the wall. Planning to get some heavy duty double sided tape to fix the problem.

I have purchased four of these now and we love them all. These two I placed in the shower and they are great for shampoo soap and body soap. We tested the best place which didn't get directly hit by the water and they are sticking great.

So happy with this product so far. I purchased two and I was worried that my children being heavy handed they would not stick as good but they are both still stuck fast to the tiles. ✌✌ I have gotten rid of the supermarket hand sanitiser and liquid soap and paired this product with Shampoo With Purpose Hand Sanitiser Mini Soaps. I am thinking about getting another two and see how they work in the shower where its wet all the time.

I live in a household that's always a bit weary when introducing more sustainable ways of living so it's gotta be good from the get-go. Removing plastic out of our shower and transferring to blocks meant there had to be a bloody ace solution that meant my peeps were not picking up gloops of soap as part of the change. This was the answer - works, makes sense, looks cool, no gloop, soaps last for yonks and it means we've gone plastic free. Boom (I hope they are back in stock soon as I now would like one for the tub!).

I love the idea and the way it works, but there are 2 improvements that I had to make: one is that the wooden bit kept falling off the wall, the other is that the magnet holding the soap in kept falling out. Both were kept in place with double sided tape that just wasn't up to the job. I peeled out the tape and glued the magnet in place with super glue. I bought better double sided tape from eBay (it's extra-thick, like a couple of mm thick) and now it works exactly as intended, and I'm very happy with that.
